Campbell's Beef Stroganoff

This comes from an old Campbell's cookbook and is the best stroganoff recipe I have ever had. It does't separate and can be frozen.

Original recipe makes 4
1 poundRound steak; cut into thin strips
1/2 cupOnion; chopped
2 tablespoonButter or margarine
1 canCondensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cupWater
1/2 cupSour cream
1/2 teaspoonPaprika
1/3 cupSherry

Campbell's Beef Stroganoff Preparation

Brown steak and onion in butter. Stir in soup, water, sour cream and paprika. Cover; cook over low heat until meat is tender. Stir often. Just befoe serving, add sherry and simmer for one minute. Serve over noodles.
