Much easier for "getting rid of" apples than making a pie

"This is a wonderful, simple and delicious recipe. I made this and used black walnuts which gave it a special taste. Also, since I am looking for dishes I can modify for weight loss, I can use Splenda brown sugar in this. Adding a slight amount of vanilla to the juice also adds additional flavor. Thanks, Cleverkt, for sharing this recipe." - crittermom17
