Potato Corn Chowder

Recipes »  Soups, Stews and Chili  »  Chowders

An easy, satisfying chowder that is "lip-smacking" good.

"NOTE: I had leftover Christmas ham that I used.
Also used leftover cheesy potato casseole for the potatoes and some leftover fresh creamed corn. I also cooked the celery and onion in the microwave instead of the stovetop. So, as you can see, this is a versitile recipe. Go ahead.....experiment and enjoy." - crittermom17

I found this recipe to be bland, not very tasty!

We didn't add bacon and replaced it with some added flavor from a jalapeƱo, leek and green onions. We also just used fresh potatoes, which increased the cooking time. Delicious and wonderful for winter weather.
