Cook Off Winner Trio's Chili

Cook Off Winner Trio's Chili

Ready in 2 hours

Head and shoulders above the rest, this chili recipe will set your guests ablaze with compliments.

"This is a very very tasted chili!!! I upped the quantities, because of all the mouths I was feeding and the pot still didn't make it through the night. Fortunately I had the presence of mind to hide a portion in the back of the fridge and have it for lunch the next day!
I read the other reviews before I chose this one even though I was drawn in by the picture and title. I too used cilantro, started the beans early on and added end a beer. I also upped the spices a bit."

I cooked beef roast in beer and in the crock-pot over night for the meat of this recipe. Once I added all the ingredients plus some red bell pepper and less tomatoes it turned out excellent. I would highly recommend this recipe.

Made this for our Independence Day family gathering and it received rave reviews. I decided to sit down and write a review as I enjoyed a bowl of the leftovers for lunch; I thinks it's even better two days later!

We really liked this chili recipe. I didn't even add the chili peppers to it and it still had just the spiciness we wanted. I also put in the beans early with the rest of the ingredients. the chili tasted even better the second day!

This recipe made my 'ho hum' chili' friends absolutely rave!!! I added extra cumin and chili's plus beef broth instead of water. It's a winner for me!
