Sticken Chicken

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Poultry - Chicken

Tastes great! Very easy to make! I started it at 300-350 degrees so I didn't have to wait so long. The results were still delicious! My family loved it! This recipe has gotten rave reviews from a lot of people who've tried it.

"This recipe was excellent! I made a few changes though. I used a glass baking dish coated with non-stick cooking spray. I increased temp to 350 and cooked chicken breasts for 25 min and 10 min. so it wouldn't be too dry. I basted the chicken with the glaze 4 times (turning the chicken over each time). I also added crushed red pepper to the sauce to spice it up a bit. I only used 2 chicken breasts so I cut the cooking time way back. This is a recipe I will definitely try over and over again!! Thanks so much to the poster... It's delicious!!" - cogramma

So good! Going into my regular rotation. Love when I find a new chicken recipe. Served it with rice and broccoli. The sauce went yummy over it all. I also cooked it as a previous reviewer said. 25 min then about 15 min basting often.

This is a family favorite. Chicken is very tender. Sauce was delicious!

Yum! The only thing I did different was to place the chicken under the broiler for 10-15 minutes at the end. Definitely will cook this again!

Substituted sherry for water, which added a flavor complexity that my family loved. We'll have this frequently.

This is my families all time favorite chicken dish! I serve the chicken on the side and we spoon the sauce over wild rice. We love the sweet flavor and it keeps the meat very moist and tender. This is also excellent with boneless pork chops!

very sweet, i lined the bottom of a glass baking pan with slices of white onions and served the onions on top. great! i would suggest adding some dried whole red peppers to cook with the sauce, it needs to be spicy, and i suggest searing the outside of the chicken then bake it, this gives it a nice texture combination while searing in the juices.

It takes a long time and is kind of bland.

I made this last night. Although I tweaked it a bit. I added fresh minced garlic and ginger to the sauce. Let it marinade with the brown sugar. The flavor was rich!! and My bf loved it so much, he insisted we get married, right then and there!!! HAha.

I know many complain about the damage to cookware; be smart next time and use a glass baking dish. My family loved it When I made it two weeks ago, and I will be making it again tonight!

Everyone LOVED this chicken, the only thing I did different is I rubbed the chicken in molasses before powdering them with flour mixture and used teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce. Was very very good!

GOOD STUFF! Cooked as to recipe the chicken will fall from the bone. We deviated by using leg quarters (leg and thigh). This recipe is next to impossible to eat without messy fingers. Include an extra napkin at the setting.

my children loved this recipe. We tried it again with wingettes, and it still was finger licken good.

You really need to line your baking tray with foil or once you've cooked this it'll be fit for the bin only!lol
I fried an onion and a red pepper and mixed them through boiled rice and served this with the chicken... it had just enough flavour to enhance it but, if you have anything too much with it the flavours can overload a bit as the chicken is so strong it doesnt need much else!

I made this dish a little differently....I used my crockpot. I prepared everything the night before. Put everything in my crockpot the next morning on low (my chicken was still frozen...even though it was defrosting in the fridge the whole night). I heeded the warnings about how STICKY this recipe was to make...and sprayed my crock with Pam before putting anything into it. It cooked all day on low...until I got home from work...and YUMMMMMO! This is a very tasty dish...even picky hubby liked it. Yes...this is a VERY sticky dish...so make sure you spray your pan well with Pam (like I did)...or use foil in your pan..to make clean up easier. Definitely a keeper! :) May try the marinade on pork at some point....I think that would be very good too!
