A hearty, meaty soup perfect for a chilly winter evening, and so easy to make. Just turn on the crock-pot and let it cook all day!

Original recipe makes 4
1 lbsground beef; (up to 2)
3 cupsBoiling water
1 tsppepper
1 tsporegano
1 tspbasil
1 tspseason salt
1 envelopeonion soup mix
1 canTomato sauce
1 tbspSoy sauce
1 cupCelery; chopped
1 cuppotatoes; diced
1 smallOnions; chopped
1 cupcarrots; chopped
1 small boxelbow macaroni

Crock-pot Hamburger Soup Preparation

Crumble beef into slow cooker. Add pepper, basil, oregano, season salt, and dry onion soup mix. Stir in boiling water, tomato sauce, soy sauce. Add potatoes, celery, onion, and carrots. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Turn to high, add cooked macaroni. Cover and cook on high 10-15 minutes.

Notes

For variations, try adding some chili powder to your spices for a little kick, or sprinkle in a bit of your favorite cheese!
