trag , 3 years agoGreat recipe. The flavor is perfect, it's easy and the consistency is good.
Greco , 3 years agoChopped up and added leftover hamburger meat and smokey hotdogs from the night before. Subsititued 2 cans of pork and beans in malasses rather than the Cambells baked beans. My youngest son hates beans but said if he had to eat beans, this is the dish he would eat.
Davidhorn1 , 4 years agoThis was awesome....whole family loved it!
cookingnCola , 4 years agoI sauteed the onion and added a little bell pepper. Yummy!
Beachbumette , 4 years agoGreat recipe! This is the first time I've made baked beans and received a compliment from my husband on them. 5 stars!
Bullscreeker , 5 years agoThese were delicious - sweet and full of flavor. The casserole dish was scraped clean at the dinner table!
bholland , 6 years agoImake this with canned jalpenos--to taste; with juice--again, to taste.
swibirun , 6 years agoVery good version of a true classic. I was going to post mine, but this one is so close I decided not to bother:) When I smoke spare ribs, I trim them St. Louis style (removing the brisket strip) but smoke the strip by itself. Then I chop/shred the strip up and use it in this bean dish INSTEAD of the bacon (way too meaty with both...I tried it once). To die for!
baketowin , 6 years agoI would definately make this recipe again. In fact I will be using this recipe to cater a graduation meal. Wonderful!
