These are easy to prepare and makes a change from tomato sandwiches.
Wash and halve tomaoes, place tomatoes on a grill tray lined with alfoil skin side up and turn grill to high. Toast bread if desired and butter bread or toast while tomatoes are cooking. Cook tomatoes for about 8 minutes and when tomato skin is blistered you should be able to slip the skin off with ease or just turn and cook other side for about 5 minutes, depending on how soft you prefer them, serve and let others slip the skins off of thier serve.
These are also great served with bacon, sausage, mini meatballs and egg, just cut down on the amount of tomatoes per person.
