Sweet And Sour Sauce
In a saucepan combine all vegetables, pineapple pieces and syrup, vinegar, tomato sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce and 3/4 cup water. Bring to the boil and stir in blended cornflour mixture. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes on simmer, vegetables should still be slightly crisp. Place steamed rice on plates, top with chicken then pour sauce over. This sauce recipe is from a packet of Nurses Cornflour.
