Mom's No Bake Cookies

Recipes »  Desserts  »  Cookies and Bars

This is the best recipe for no bake cookies I have ever tried. It's great with or without the nuts and coconut!

"I made these quick and easy cookies with my nieces. They turned out wonderfully and were ready to eat in about an hour. The girls followed the recipe as written but did omit the optional nuts and coconut. Also, after dropping them onto the wax paper lined sheets, they used the back of a spoon to smooth the mounds out a bit, flattening them into more of a cookie shape (see photo). The girls loved them!"

Its a really easy recipe to make, a no brainer if you need something quick. I put them in the fridge to speed up the hardening time.

Anyway to make this without the peanut butter? Would Carmel or someother ingredient work?

Very good! Used 1cup sugar, 5 Tbl. Butter and increased the cocoa a bit...so good the family was eating them right out of the pan! Will definately make again as these were quick and easy
