Suggest a better descriptionHeat oven to 375. Combine dry, except tablespoon sugar and 1/8 tsp. cinnamon. Add oil, milk and egg. Stir in currants. shape dough to form ball; gently knead five times. On wax paper covered surface, pat out to form an 8-inch square. Cut into quarters, then cut into eigths, then sixteenths. Combine the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over scones. Bake on ungreased sheet 12-15 minutes.
These are great for a tea party or just a nice breakfast snack. They taste similar to oatmeal cookies and my kids love them shaped into numbers on their birthdays.
