"I made this for dinner and my husband actually said it was one of the best things he has had. So thanks for the recipe. It was so simple to make. The only thing I changed was I used two cans of crescent rolls to make sure I had alot of crust. I added some cheese into the crust around the edges. (He likes cheese !) 1 1/4 poundGround round
1/2 poundTomato sauce
1/4 teaspoonGarlic powder
1 poundRefrigerated crescent rolls
1 cupMozzarella
1 cupCheddar cheese; shredded

Hamburger Pie

Prep: 10 min, Cook: 35 min.

Preheat oven to 350F. Cook meat 7-8 minutes in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat until browned. Drain and discard excess drippings. Stir in tomato sauce, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Unroll dough and arrange rolls in a single layer in the bottom of a 9 inch pie pan to make a crust, overlapping slightly over the edge of pan. Sprinkle with half the cheeses. Add meat mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Pull sides of dough up over edge of meat. Bake 25 minutes.
