I make this almost every week! It's so good, and it's easy to add your own flare.
Good recipe! I used left over chicken from a whole chicken prepared the night before; shredded the chicken and submerged it into the rice to keep it from drying out. I used cheddar cheese soup. Tasty :)
I used cheddar cheese soup (cause I had it & wanted to use it up), salsa, garlic powder & water to stir into the rice. Then I cut the chicken breasts to make them thinner & laid them on top. After cooking, I did put some cheddar cheese on top of chicken. It was really good - spicy. But, chicken breasts are dry, so I will use thighs next time.
Came out very good I cooked my chicken and rice first so it would be all the way done seasoned my chicken mixed rice and cream of chicken soup and broccoli together then put cheese on it put it in the oven for the cheese to melt
Good dish but the chicken needs some kind of extra seasoning because it came out bland. The rice was tasty and I added fresh broccoli when cooking it. Also just pound the chicken flat to keep it within the given cook time
Used chicken broth instead of water, great stuff.
