These cookies are so easy and they look like they took for hours. You can make one large cookie or several individual cookies.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix peppermint extract into dough. (You can also add red food coloring if you want to give the dough a peppermint marbled look)
Bake cookies 12 to 15 minutes until firm. Immediately sprinkle chips over the cookies and let stand 3 to 5 minutes until chips are soft. Spread melted chocolate evenly over cookies.
Sprinkle walnuts and peppermint candy on cookies and use hands to lightly press them into the chocolate. Let the cookies cool and the walnuts and candy will set.
