These low-fat chocolate chip cookies are made with bananas.
"I would describe these as banana bread cookies. The outside is crisp like a cookie, but the inside is soft like banana bread. The mix forms more of a sticky batter than a dough which makes it a little difficult to spoon onto the pan. Other than that, it's an easy recipe to make and very delicious! I will definitely make these again and recommend it to others. "- aria96

Cynniebuns 6 months agoMake sure you use a very ripe banana. I followed the recipe almost to a tee, except for butter. I used olive oil margarine instead. Just about 3/8 of a cup of chocolate chip was good enough. It isn't very sweet, which is good!
DunesB 8 months agoI add two bananas just to get the flavour right, and I never add all the sugar it calls for. They taste like muffin tops and stay soft for a week. At my house we call them banana bombs, they are awesome !
keadoll 9 months agoMaking them right now, if the cookies are half as good as the batter, they will be awesome!!! Lol
Macedonia2011 9 months agoGood as far as soft cookies go. All 5 of my boys ate them so can't complain. One said that they tasted a bit like subway cookies.
BrandiLaShayWesley 11 month agoI added more sugar and an extra banana, because of all the reviews it was great! I also added pecans!
MinnaB 11 month agoThese cookies were barely ok. Definitely will not make again. Not sweet enough to be considered a cookie.
BigEaze 1 year agoI loved this recipe. It was easy and taste great the kids couldn't get enough of them. I will be making these again!!!!!

kitchen_ninja 1 year agoWicked awesome! Taste like a cross between banana bread and chocolate chip pancakes.
Berettachic 1 year agoThese cookies (if you want to call them that) came or more like little banana cakes. I added an extra banana and they came straight from the store (not too ripe) and also left them in the fridge for 24 hours. They came out fantastic!
pugsruletheworld 2 years agoReally good recipe! I used 2 bananas and 1 cup of regular semisweet chocolate chips. Kinda hard to taste the banana but still good. The outside is like a cookie and the inside is like banana bread.
MissSue 2 years agoThese are large, moist cookies and are delicious! a good way to use some ripe bananas!

CarolaGirl01 3 years agoThis is a great recipe and easy to make. Mine puffed up beautifully while baking and are very soft and delightful. Better option than making a cake in my opinion because these are less messy to serve and eat, and fewer calories in a single serving than a muffin! LOVE THEM.
mishmakau 5 years agoWell, this was not a stunner cookie recipe in my experience. On the up side, it was easy and inexpensive, my six and two year olds enjoyed helping make it. On the down side it did not spread like the photo, leading me believe they used more butter than suggested and the banana flavour was very subtle and not strong enough for the choc chips in my opinion.

CookieGia 5 years agoI'm quite new to cooking of any kind and I found these fun, quick and easy. They were delicious and all my 'guinea-pigs' thoroughly enjoyed them. I added an extra banana to mine and don't be shocked by them being soft.
