A light, quick and tasty way to finish a bbq.

"I made these just like the recipe directed and they were fabulous! When I told guests we were having BBQ Bananas, I got a lot of raised eyebrows. Everyone who likes bananas sampled them, and everyone raved about them! They were an enormous hit with kids! The touch of cinnamon made them gourmet!" - Beckysplace

1 squirtUHT cream; to taste

BBQ Bananas Preparation

Clean the grill top prior to cooking.

Place 2 bananas whole, per serving, on a medium heat and turn a couple of times during cooking for an even skin discolouration. As the skin turns brown to dark and juices run they are ready. Approx. 3-5 mins.

Remove from heat a make a single knife cut along the full length and spread the skin to expose the cooked fruit.

Cinnamon if required.

Apply a squirt of UHTcream or topping of choice.

Guests will look at this burnt offering and remark," I will just have one to try it" and be straight back for the other. Trust me! Jamieo

Really good and easy. You must eat them quickly after grilling as they harden relatively fast. Also, I think I prefer to cut them in half and grill at some point to add some texture.
    Loved it.
