This is the simplest bread you can imagine. The loaves look rather rustic, but they're delicious, especially hot and with a smear of butter. Only two ingredients -- and no kneading! You can try different beers for different flavors. We like it made with Budweiser.
fdnyguy ,Simple enough you MUST try this bread. I think the fun part comes next with the experimenting of different beers, and fine tuning it till your even happier!10y
antony_hamilton ,Very easy to make and really nice toasted, I used tiger beer and it worked perfectly11y
amberdey ,Super easy! This is a fun recipe to add too and play with... I like to use it as dough for pizza too! I use it all the time!11y
malcolmhills ,Tried this a few times now - BEST results (near perfection) was with strong bread flour (brown) and ale (not lager) - best flavour using London's Pride (UK beer). A firm favourite :) and now 5 stars.11y
brooklynbmg ,I'm sorry, did someone say they used BUDWEISER for this recipe? I didn't even make this yet and I found that person's review hilarious. No wonder it turned out horrible.11y
harrydinkle ,Love this bread! Had success making it with McSorley's Irish Pale Ale, McSorley's Black Lager and Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat. Trying it with bacon and cheese next time!11y
malcolmhills ,Works well. Tried it a few of times, occasionally a bit heavy, but need to experiment with flour / beer to get it right. Great taste, will keep on :)11y
callums ,Did not like at all. Could have been the Budweiser. It smelled so strongly of beer we could not eat it. Maybe with a smoother, more mellow beer...11y
vickie1302 ,Wonderful and easy. Definitely will keep this recipe for a long time. For someone who loves bread and butter I'm pretty sure this is a sin????12y
parker24 ,I've been baking this bread for years. I like to jazz it up by adding whatever sounds fun. Parmesan cheese and black olives or maybe tomatoes, green onions and sharp cheddar. It's delicious!12y
