Original recipe makes 12
2 cupsAll-purpose flour
1 teaspoonBaking soda
1/4 teaspoonSalt
1/2 cupButter
3/4 cupBrown sugar
2 largeEggs; beaten
2 1/3 cupsoverripe bananas; mashed

Banana Banana Bread Preparation

Preheat oven to 350.

Lightly grease 9 x 5 loaf pan.

In large bowl, combine flour, soda and salt.

In separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar.

Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.

Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten.

Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean.

Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.

Notes

I have made a lot of banana bread over the years. This is absolutely the best recipe that I have ever tried. Awesome. I also served this as a dessert with Coconut Ice Cream.
