Delicious crab meat and melted cheese to keep you warm while waiting for a holiday dinner

"I've made this twice now, added a can of artichoke hearts (chopped), fresh backfin crab and some garlic powder. Served with tortilla chips. My husband loves it. I doubled it and took it to a Holiday party recently. I was asked for the recipe. ;) Thanks for sharing!

1 6-oz canCrabmeat; drained and flaked
1 8 oz packageCream cheese
1 tablespoonOnion; minced
1 tablespoonLemon juice
1 dashCayenne pepper
1 cupCheddar cheese; shredded

Hot Crab Dip Preparation

Combine all ingredients except cheddar cheese.

Place in a small oven safe dish and top with cheddar cheese.

Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes untill hot and bubbly.

Serve with crackers or breadsticks.

This was fantastic! Brought it to an anniversary party and it was inhaled. There wasn't a bit left over. Served it with Club crackers.

Thanks for that info. But I don't have that option on my big oven anymore apparently. I even have it stored in my favs. And there nothing. Then looked it up in the glossary. And know luck there either.

Very good! Def needs something extra to give it a bit of a kick and not be so bland. I ate it with garlic and chive crackers, which was excellent.
