Dancetunes44 , 3 years agoI made this last night! It was pretty good, I think next time I'll make the salsa with it. Also I'll marinate my fish for a little extra flavor. Overall yum!
catgurrl , 3 years ago@bstraughan Habanero is a great addition! For future reference, I have posted a habanero salsa that complements this dish wonderfully, especially for those of us who love to spice things up! Happy Cooking...
Stephenseaman21 , 4 years agoFantastic, easy recipe. I used blue marlin and substituted corn tortillas. Goes GREAT with fresh pico I made while it was marinating...
dembrch , 4 years agoDelicious! I added a little extra lime juice and a dash of soy sauce. Really good dish.
Sarabond , 4 years agoThis fish recipe was delicious! We garnished our tacos with Avacado Dressing and Fresh Mexian Salsa also found on Big Oven. We served it with a chilled shrimp and pasta salad and grilled corn. It was a hit for my Mother-in-law's birthday dinner. Pretty healthy too - except for the cake and ice cream we ate for dessert:)
pdaddyj , 4 years agoI've made this several times, each time with a different kind of fish. I even made it for company three times now. Everyone whom I've cooked this for thinks it is excellent. I love it!
FoodPrints , 4 years agoDivine!!! So easy to make, nice and light as, contrary to other tacos, fajitas and so on, it doesn't come with cheese. And it doesn't need any, either. Made it for the family, and the boss (aka my Dad) didn't miss neither meat nor cheese! And the Habanero Salsa is a must-have with it. Substituted sour cream with cream cheese as I happened to have that in the fridge and cabbage with iceberg lettuce. And we also had some guacamole with it. Wasn't completely necessary, but nice all the same :) I used cat fish, as it was on offer. Will DEFINTELY make it again soon.
