| 4 cupsBread; cubed |
| 1 teaspoonSalt |
| 1/8 teaspoonPepper |
| 2 tablespoonLard; melted |
| 1/8 teaspoonGinger; as required |
| 1/4 teaspoonPoultry seasoning |
| 1 eaEgg |
| 1 smallOnion; chopped thin |
| 1 smallMacintosh apple; peeled, cored and chopped |
| 4 ribsCelery; chopped |
| 1 cupRaisins |
| OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS |
| Walnuts |
| Cranberries |
Turkey/ Chicken Stuffing Preparation
Cover giblets in water and simmer for about 2 hours. (reserve the water). Grind the giblets, and combine all the ingrediets in a large bowl. Mix well with your hands. Add water to make it a soupy consistency. Stuff the cavities of the bird, and sew up any flap of skin present to cover the cavity.
Cook the bird as directed. Empty the cavity before carving. Enjoy
