This recipe is very simple and the soup is tasty!

Original recipe makes 10
1 lb.Ground beef
1/2 cupOnion; chopped
1 packageBeef Noodle Hamburger Helper
5 cupswater; warm or hot
1 Bay leaf
1/4 tsp.Salt
1/8 tsp.Pepper
2 cansstewed tomatoes
1 packagefrozen mixed vegetables; or 2 cups cooked vegetables

Quick Vegetable Beef Soup Preparation

Cook and stir ground beef and onion in Dutch Oven (at least 5 quart size) until beef is brown; drain.

Stir in warm water, sauce mix (make sure to dissolve in water), bay leaf, salt, pepper and tomatoes (with liquid); break up tomatoes with fork. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.

Stir in noodles and vegetables; cover and cook 10 minutes longer.

This was delicious...I used stewed tomatoes with added Italian seasonings (next time I'll just use diced tomatoes rather than breaking up the tomatoes).
