Very quick and satifying meal for cool weather. One of our family favorites. Re-heats well.

angieharpole , 1 years agoVery fast, very delicious, coming from 2 foodies. My power went out when I started so I had to forego baking and do the chicken on the stove top, but it turned out perfectly!
jrodsaxo1190 , 1 years agoThe chili is lacking when compared to your taste buds preconception of chili (traditional red). If you take it as it is, what a delightful meal to prepare and enjoy. It could use slight modification; but for the novice cook, friends will applaud. Toppings when served are a must...sour cream, shredded cheese, tortillas, etc. They accent the dish very well. Lady59 , 1 years agoVery easy to make, subbed anise seed w/fennel, enjoyed especially on this chilly day
Jenlynn62801 , 1 years agoMy family loves this recipe. Although I added two extra cans of beans and there's enough for dinner one night and lunch the next day.
Northone , 1 years agoNice change. Enjoyed. Bit of Mexico flavoring.
atreu , 1 years agoMy family lives this! So flavorful & great as left overs!
heidicoffey , 1 years agoMy family went wild over this, the only tweak was green pepper sautéed with the onion ( I try to sneak veggies in whenever I can ) it was a quick easy crowd pleaser, will have to double for leftovers!
che4u , 1 years agoI, personally, like red chili bases but they bother my husband's stomach so I tried this one. The family LOVED it! I would give it 6 out of 10 but my family rated it a 9 and want me to make again soon so I will base my rating on theirs. Thank you for the white base alternative to traditional chili.
Blueridgebabe , 1 years agoReally good! Even without the green chilies which I didn't have on hand.

chawnadill , 1 years agoI made this the other night for dinner and it didn't have the flavor I was hoping. It has a "kick" like what most reviewers said but there is not much flavor. My husband and i ate it gladly but both noticed something was missing.cvI like the idea of it but probably wouldn't make it again.
Slipjig , 1 years agoI added half the amount of green chiles and reduced the red pepper for my 4 and 6 year old, and we all loved it. My husband added hot sauce to his and everyone was happy!
McClan7 , 1 years agoTime making it and the fat free sour cream works perfect!
McClan7 , 1 years agoHusband thought we would be ordering pizza until he tasted it. Then he told me I could make it again. I thought it was missing something so i added corn and 1% milk. Next time I'll add fat free sour cream for the dairy.
pamd123 , 2 years agoyummy! I used chopped chicken thighs, added dived tomatoes, skipped anise and whipping cream. Sooo good, nice kick.
tat2edmommie , 2 years agoI always drain and rinse my beans. The liquid is obnoxiously salty ands starchy and severely changes the flavor and texture of the chili. Also I see no need for the anise. I would use thyme instead.
Easton6611 , 2 years agoVery tasty but we will add a little more kick/spice to it for the next time. And fire roasted tomatoes.
