Butterscotch sauce Preparation
Place butter, sugar and cream in a saucepan over a moderate heat, and stir to dissolve the sugar. Simmer for a few minutes until thick, about 10 minutes. Add the vanilla extract at the last minute.
Makes about 200 mililiters or 6 servings
