| 1 cupYellow corn meal |
| 1 cupFlour; sifted |
| 1/4 cupSugar |
| 1 tablespoonBaking Powder |
| 1 teaspoonSalt |
| 1/2 cupCanola oil |
| 1 cupmilk |
| 1 extra largeEgg; beaten |
Golden Yellow Corn Bread Preparation
Preheat oven to 425 F.
Combine corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
In separate bowl mix oil, beaten egg, and milk.
Add liquid to dry ingredients and stir until combined. Don't overmix.
Bake in greased 8 X 8 X 2 or 9 X 9 X 2 inch pan for 20 to 25 minutes.
