"Thanks for the great recipe! The meat was so moist and tender. Put it on low for 10 hours while at work. Great to come home to the wonderful aroma of a home cooked meal without a lot of effort. We don't like onions but I cut up half an onion in big slices on top which gave a great flavor. "- hollirussell

Place chuck roast in crock pot. Top with chopped onion, garlic, soy sauce and oil. Cook on low heat for 8-10 hours.
christinaschaefer35 4 months agoHoly moly this was salty. Good flavor, I would use beef broth instead of soy sauce next time.
Kparrish01 1 year agoSo yummy! I cut back on the soy sauce & added a 1/4 cup of low sodium beef broth & it was amazing! Can also see how this would made for a delicius beef dip sandwich. The au jus is amazing!

MoogJam 1 year agoMmmm mmmm mmm! I just added some balsamic vinegar to give it a little wine flair. So easy and I don't like to spend time cooking. I'll attach before and after photos.
melaniesalguerorosenthal 1 year agoThis was so good! I think next time I will either omit the oil or cut it in half. I added some potatoes and baby carrots to make this a whole meal in one. Very easy, good recipe. Thanks
Sharonyffmills 1 year agoincredibly easy, and incredibly good, thank you
PCAV89 1 year agoThis was very good pot roast. I added some potatoes in with it to give it a little something extra bit overall, very tasty and tender.

kaylimgo 2 years agoAwesome. Added some other veggies and used knorr seasoning instead of soy sauce (not as salty) and put a tad bit of water in it. Came out super tender
