Fresh Strawberry Pie
Haven't tried this one yet
"Excellent recipe! I would clarify that the mashed strawberries should be 2 cups before mashing, not after (otherwise, 3 tablespoons of cornstarch isn't enough to thicken it). I use a blender for the mashing and I put the whole strawberries pointy side up on the crust, then pour the mashed filling on top. It looks just like a magazine. Finally, if strawberries are in season, I only use 1/4-1/2 cup sugar; the strawberries are plenty sweet on their own!" - tinabethYield: 8 Ready in 45 minutes
