Amaretto Sauce For Bread Pudding
Original recipe makes 1
| 1/2 cupPowdered sugar |
| 1/2 cupAmaretto; or other liquor |
| 1/2 cupWater |
| 4 tlButter or margarine |
| 1 tlCornstarch |
Amaretto Sauce For Bread Pudding Preparation
Disolve the cornstarch in a little of the water and set aside. In a small saucepan, bring the Amaretto, remaining water, butter and sugar to a boil. Add the dissolved cornstarch and simmer, stirring until translucent, about 1 minute.Serve warm over bread pudding.
