"I was looking for a moist, flavorful cornbread, and this one definitely filled the bill. It almost has a cake-like texture, rather than the dry crisp texture of the traditional southern cornbread. Will definitely make again. -Susan"

Ingredients
| 2 tablespoonUnsalted butter; melted |
| 1 cupFlour |
| 3/4 cupYellow corn meal |
| 3 teaspoonBaking Powder |
| 1/2 teaspoonCourse Salt |
| 1/2 cupmilk |
| 1/2 cupSour cream |
| 1 largeEgg |
| 1/3 cupSugar |
| 14 3/4 ounceCreamed corn |
Creamed Corn Bread Preparation
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Butter an 8" square pan and set aside.
Combine flour, corn meal, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk together milk, sour cream, egg, sugar and butter in a small bowl. Stir in creamed corn. Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until well combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until set and golden brown on top. Cool slightly before cutting in to squares.
