Ketchup can replace chili sauce

"I made way too much for 2 chops, so I refrigerated the balance for use next week. I didnt have chili sauce in the house so I substituted ketchup and chili powder!" - dazeofflewis

Original recipe makes 4
4 pork chops; thick
1 tsp.Salt
1/8 tsp.Pepper
1 1/2 c.Onions; chopped
1/2 c.Green Pepper; Chopped
1/4 c.Butter
1 clovegarlic; crushed
1 1-lb canBoston baked beans
1/2 cchili sauce
1 tbsp.Brown sugar
1 tbsp.Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp.Prepared mustard

Baked Pork Chops with Beans Preparation

Season chops with salt and pepper and brown well in skillet. Place chops in shallow baking dish. Drain fat from skillet and saute onions and green peppers in butter. Add garlic, baked beans, chili sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire and mustard. Pour over chops and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Notes

I would have this more often but the beans have an adverse affect on my social life.

Delicious and easy. Would be good baked beans without the chops too! Used ketchup (had no chili sauce) and frozen pepper/onion mix. Will make again.

This was an excellent dish . . . minimal effort, and exceptional taste. Used Bush's Grillin Beans; was out of bbq sauce, so just used a little extra ketchup and a little extra brown sugar
