Maple syrup and apple juice provide the mildly sweet marinade for these salmon fillets. Whether they are broiled or grilled, the fillets glaze nicely when basted. Everyone I've served this to seems to love it. Kathy Schrecengost Oswego, New York
"I combined a couple of the ideas I read in earlier comments, and it was phenomenal, (even my 5 & 7yr olds liked it)! I baked the fish for 30mins, center-rack of oven & boiled the 1/2 cup of marinade that was set aside for basting, to use it as a sauce. I also believe it will be better to marinade it at least 3hrs if not longer since the sauce was really the main flavoring."- Jdog21276

Top-ranked recipe named "Maple Teriyaki Salmon Fillets"
In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Remove 1/2 cup for basting; cover and refrigerate. Pour remaining marinade into a large resealable plastic bag. Add salmon; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 1-3 hours.
Drain and discard marinade. Broil salmon 4-in. from the heat for 5 minutes. Baste with reserved marinade. Broil 10 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily with fork, basting frequently
This made a great dinner. It easily rivals any other salmon dish I have tried. My wife loved it and I will definitely be making this one again.

scottroy_ 9 months agoFollowed all instructions to a tee. Was hoping the marinade would have been a bit more prevolent in the final product - VERY subtle sweetness. Will try to bake instead of broil next time.

timgraham1 1 year agoIncredible salmon. We baked the fish at 350 F for 25 to 30 minutes instead of broiling, and it was extremely moist. It vanished quickly at our weekly Church dinner.
