Garam Masala
Recipes » Other » Other - Misc
Garam is the Indian word for "warm" or "hot." It is an aromatic spice blend of different dry-roasted, ground spices from the colder climes of northern India. It is intended to add a sense of "warmth" to both palate and spirit.
Many Indian recpies call for this spice which is simple to make but not always easy to find.
"As my wife states, it wasn't hot but we could smell it even post meal ( a chicken dish). The house smells nice. I'm running it by some of my Indian friends who use this more often than me."
