6 Green Peppers
1 PoundGround beef
8 ouncesMozzarella Cheese
1/4 cupparmesean cheese
8 ouncesTomato sauce
Salt/Pepper

Stuffed Green Peppers In Crock Pot Preparation

Buy tall green peppers (usually I can get 6 in my crock pot but I have a rather large one). Cut off the tops and deseed the inner part of the green pepper.

In a bowl combine 1 pound of ground beef (do not brown - mix raw beef)mozzeralla cheese, little parmasean, salt/pepper. Stuff the green peppers about 3/4 to the top - leave room for expansion while the peppers cook. Pour a little tomato sauce over the peppers and put the tops back on them. Cover and cook on low ALL day or high about 4 hours. The grease from the beef will coat the peppers all the way through and make them yummy!

This recipe was very simple to assemble, and the family wants me to cook again soon.

Sounds pretty similar to chile rellenos and so if that's what you're trying to accomplish, still got a long way to go and a lot of ingredients to add and mix

The recipe was a nice guideline, but I added rice and an egg. I have a tiny, tiny crock that eouldn't hold two peppers side by side, so I cut the peppers into quarters, mixed all the ingredients together, and cooked it om high until the meat was cooked through.

the concept is great but this receipe is very bland. I would have added more spice and more sauce. Instead of cheese, I would opt for breadcrumbs. If someone wants cheese, they can add it once it's on the table.

Can you make this one with rice too?
