Meatless Spanish Rice

Recipes »  Side Dish  »  Rice

Simple, fast and tasty side dish!

"This was so good! I couldn't eat enough of it! My husband also really liked it and said it reminded him of the rice he used to have when he lived in Guam. It was really easy to make! I didn't have any salsa so I used a cup of Rotel, but a cup ended up being a whole can. Also, I drained the Rotel before I put it in. I'm definitely making this again! And sharing this recipe with my friends." - melarky

This was a hit with my family. Next time I plan to add some TVP to it to have more of a hamburger helper feel to it. Very Yummy!

Made this today and it was really yummy and really easy. Used rotel instead of salsa and lime juice instead of lemon juice. Thanks so much for sharing. Will definitely make again.

Too watery at first -- I substituted 1 8oz can of tomato paste in place of tomato sauce family loves it :)

This is becoming a go to recipe for me to make to go along with tacos, enchiladas, or chicken. It is so easy to make and you can really jazz it up by adding onion, fresh tomato, cilantro, and lime or lemon.

I absolutely loved it! It was very hard to clean the pan, really stuck on! Also, it was very watery, I cut to 3/4 cup. But, boy is is easy and good! I make it once a month and add cool things each time. THanks Debapaka!!!

I used regular rice (cooked it longer) and replaced the pepper with cumin. It was yummy!
