Easy Tomato Garlic Pasta

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Pasta

Fast, easy, and tasty! Serve with a crusty bread and a salad.

"Made this for lunch yesterday, but made a few adjustments because it was just me and my twin girls. I sliced a cup of grape tomatoes, 2 green onions and a teaspoon of minced garlic and extra virgin olive oil. I cooked that till the tomatoes started to give off liquid. I then tossed with the spaghetti. I'm pregnant and it was exactly what I wanted. It was so good. And just 10 minutes. "

Awesome. Perfect just how it is. My boyfriend loved it. With so many intensely flavorful foods out there... It's nice to have something simplisticly delicious. (:

Good sauce, I had to add a jar of mushroom spaghetti sauce because the recipe didn't make enough to fully saturate the pasta. But the two sauces mixed together gave it a good taste.

This came out good. I added three teaspoons of tomatoe paste to thicken it up a bit. And added some dried spices, oregano, parsley, basil, onion powder.

It was pretty tasty. Very simple but light and enjoyable. I added a bit of crushed red pepper for a kick, plus lots of fresh parmesan. Next time I might add basil. The best part about this dish was how easy it was to make.

In the fall I make this regularly with fresh tomatoes. Just dice up some fresh romas and throw them into the cooked pasta. After sitting for a couple of minutes its all good. Add some shrimp lightly sauted in butter and garlic to jazz it up.
