Party food Texas style!

"I took everybody's suggestions and I created something a little unique. I omitted the black olives since I think they are disgusting but I added a can of tomato w/green chili (the one you put in Velveeta to make nacho dip). I also added a little cumin. Since I was making these for my girls, I rolled up ham in the tortilla as well. A huge success and will definitely be in my kitchen arsenal. " - Laideeblayz

I have a similar recipe, only it also calls for one jar of pimiento. The roll-ups make for a beautiful appetizer at Christmastime, although my family demands them year-round!

This is always a hit when I make it. I have made some changes to the recipe, instead of flour tortillas I use jalapeño. Also I added 2 jalapeño's to the ingredients. Those changes really made a tasty difference!

Have made similar but the portions seem to make this better.

I like the simplicity of these. I add cumin, cilantro and cayenne to my mixture. After they set up, the get kinda mushy. The flavor is there but my family isn't crazy about the consistency. So, what I do is after I cut them into little pieces, I throw them in the deep fryer. The only take a few seconds for each batch and they disappear like crazy.

I got this recipe from one of my friends a couple years ago too! I stir in a packet of taco seasoning to the mix too. Gives it a bit more of a bite!
