Chocolate Crunch Pie

Your guests won't believe that this pie is not made with ice cream! This is a great make ahead dessert, which I adapted from a Jello pudding recipe.

Original recipe makes 8
1 packageJello instant chocolate pudding; 4 serving size
1 cupMilk; chilled
8 ounceCool Whip; defrosted
20 eaOreos; crushed
1 1/2 cupsRocks*; see selection
1 eaChocolate; or graham pie crust

Chocolate Crunch Pie Preparation

Prepare pudding mix as directed on package, but use only 1 cup of cold milk.

Fold in Cool Whip.

Fold in 1 cup of the crushed Oreos and all of the Rocks*.

Spoon into cookie crust. Top with remaining crushed Oreos. Freeze at least 4 hours, or overnight. Let stand 10 minutes at room temperature before slicing. Enjoy!

*Rocks - Can be made up of almost anything - Chocolate chips, broken peanut butter cups, chopped nuts, granola bar, mason mints, mini-marshmallows, etc.
