This beef dip is wonderful and can be prepared a day before serving. Just heat slowly in microwave or on stove top and stir well to combine.
In deep skillet, saut beef, onion and garlic, breaking beef into very small pieces. Brown and drain.
Add diced chilies, tomato sauce, ketchup, sugar and oregano. Cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Add cheeses and mix thoroughly, until melted. Blend well.
Serve with tortilla chips.
This can be made a day ahead and reheated in the microwave.
