Quaker Oats Classic Meatloaf

"This was phenomenal. I hate meatloaf usually, but I had seconds of this. My husband at half the loaf, and even my picky, almost two-year-old, loved it too, and even asked for seconds. I used ground turkey instead, only because that's what I had in my freezer. It took an hour to cook. I served it with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. My husband, who hates ground turkey, has asked me to make this a weekly staple (and continue to use the turkey!)." - SunnyFLErin

This is the way mom used to cook the loaf. A good way to stretch your dollar and eat like a king!

Great meatloaf. We added chopped onion and mushrooms to the meat before cooking. Also added a few mushrooms and chili sauce to the top during last few minutes of cooking.

Good, the ground turkey didn't hold together as well as I would like it. It was extremely difficult to slice

I feel like the oats night throw the texture off. Did anybody feel like the oats didn't seem right in the meatloaf?

This is fantastic. We eat it all the time. I use ground turkey and I think that's better than beef. Yummy!

Really delicious! I made this last night for my husband and me and it took longer than expected to get our 3 month old daughter to bed so it sat on warm in the oven for a while after it was done. I was sure it was going to be dry, but it was still perfect! I made a glaze of ketchup, honey, and brown sugar for the top and put it on about 40 mins into cooking.

Great! Used panko bread crumbs rather than oats and sprinkled onion soup mix on top before baking. Delicious and family loved it.

Loved this recipe! I'm new at cooking and it was really easy! I used Italian bread crumbs instead of oats and it tasted great! I also left out the salt and pepper. My friend says it tastes better than her mom's!

So easy yet so good!! I substituted the Worcestershire sauce with steak sauce, and changed the ketchup to seasoned tomato sauce(with basil), added some fresh basil leaves,it turned out super!! it is my favorite dish!

This was the easiest and best meatloaf I've ever made. Didn't have an egg, so used egg whites. Taste was amazing, but the loaf did stick together as much as I would like. Will be sure to use a whole egg next time. Thanks for sharing

My husband says, "good" but I think that's because the one I tried the night b4 wasn't even edible - went down disposal. I thought this one was ok, but I guess I'm still looking for the meatloaf my mother used to make.

It was one of the best meatloaf recipes I've tried!
