Baked Halibut

Baked Halibut

Ready in 45 minutes

Use a light hand in seasoning the fillets.

"Simple and quick! I baked it for 20 minutes, but with the pan only 1/3 full of water (I will try less next time). I then emptied the water, flipped the halibut, added a little butter and baked it for 10 more minutes. I forgot about the broiler, but it browned nicely anyway."

Very good! Instead of halibut, used cod fillets. Turned out great which is a major kudo because I'm not a fish fan! Very mild fishy taste...especially when served with cocktail sauce on the side. Thanks for posting! My fish loving husband is thrilled I found a recipe I'll eat ??

Excellent treatment of halibut - very flavorful preparation. I will do this again, but will do it on the lower end of the baking period. Sorry I didn't get a photo...seems the plate got cleaned out pretty quick. :-)
