This is a clone of KFC's famous Cole Slaw from Top Secret Recipes.
"With a food processor this is extremely easy to make. I even made the dressing in the processor. I didn't have any lemon juice but it didn't seem to matter, the vinegar took it's place. I might add the next time a chopped, seeded jalepeno pepper to give it some zip. However if you follow this recipe you will have a winner. It is excellent, I served it with deep fried talipa fish. This is a perfect dish to take to a pot luck dinner. It's better when chilled.

garej704 1 year agoI used red cabbage and I too didn't have buttermilk so used plain yogurt and also used Splenda instead of sugar. Excellent taste and went well with the Hot Dogs and burgers.
fuchsr 1 year agoExcellent! I didn't have have buttermilk in the fridge so I substituted plain yogurt, and -- lazy as I am -- used a bag of cole slaw mix (cabbage and carrots). Still the perfect cole slaw for a summer night barbeque.
Blancosbows 1 year agoWayyyyy better than KFC! My daughter (who told me over & over when I was making it) hates cole slaw. Well, she just ate her words, literally! She had third helpings of it!
