| 1/4 cupSplenda; for baking |

| 2 1/2 teaspoonBaking Powder |
| 1/4 teaspoonSalt |
| 1 cupBananas; mashed |
| 2/3 cupLowfat Buttermilk; halved |
| 1 largeEgg |
| 1/4 cupCanola oil |
| 1/2 cupUnsweetened Applesauce |
| 1 teaspoonVanilla |
| 1 cupChocolate chips |
Banana Chip Muffins Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the flours, sugar, Splenda, baking powder, and salt. Combine the egg, buttermilk, oil, banana, vanilla, and applesauce; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Fill greased muffin cups full. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
