Sugar Cookies - Wilton Recipe
This cookies are absolutely delicious and with no chilling time necessary, they can be made quickly. This is now my favorite sugar cookie!"I just made these with my 4 year old son. We had such a great time. This recipe is basic enough to where I could keep him involved the whole time. We used baking powder, not baking soda, since the original recipe called for it (but the instructions say soda).
I think the cookies are a wee on the dry side, but they're still good. We are going to make frosting next!" - Jenrford

Sift flour and baking soda together. Add to creamed mixture, one cup at a time, mixing after each addition.
Dough will be very stiff.
DO NOT CHILL DOUGH!
Divide dough in half. On floured surface, roll dough about to 1/8 thick. Dip cutters in flour before each use. Bake cookies on ungreased cookie sheet on top rack of oven for 6-7 minutes, or until lightly browned.
