Delicious with chips or served with Mexican dishes. Keeps in the refrigerator for about 3 days covered tightly with seran wrap. Leave out the jalapeno, if desired.
"Very good, close to the recipe that I make only I use fresh lime and orange juice instead of lemmon. Not sure why this is guacomole "salad" though." - rb1Yield: 4 Ready in 45 minutes

2 Ripe avacados; peel and remove seeds
1/8 teaspoonSalt; or more to taste
1/8 teaspoonPepper; or more to taste
1/8 teaspoonGarlic powder
1 teaspoonLemon juice
2 tablespoonOnion; finely chopped
1 Tomato; finely chopped
1 Jalapeno pepper; seeded, deveined, and finely chopped (optional)
1 tablespoonPace's picante sauce
Guacamole Salad Preparation
Mash avacados in a medium sized bowl. A potato masher works great for mashing them. Add the remaining ingredients, mixing well and transfer to serving bowl, if desired. Cover tightly with seran wrap, gently mashing the wrap down against the guacamole. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
