| 1 2/3 cupFlour |
| 1 1/2 teaspoonBaking Powder |
| 1/4 teaspoonBaking soda |
| 3/4 teaspoonSalt |
| 1/2 cupSugar |
| 1 cupWalnuts; chopped |
| 1 Egg; beaten |
| 1/4 cupVegetable oil |
| 1 cupBananas; mashed |
| 1 tablespoonLemon juice |
Banana Nut Bread Preparation
Sift together the dry ingredients. Add 3/4 cup of the nuts. Combine the remaining ingredients and add to the dry ingredients. Stir only until the flour is moistened. Pour into a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Sprinkle the remaining nuts over the top of the loaf. Bake in a 350 oven for 1 hour.
