Wonderful Short Ribs
This is a very good crock pot recipe.
"Spectacular recipe - I got great results without browning the ribs first. Also, DOES NOT NEED A CROCKPOT! I did this in Dutch oven on the stovetop, first 15 minutes thing done on High in dutch over, then cooked on low heat for 2 hours. Secret is keeping the lid on the pot and not checking on it. Also - I did not like the amount of Worcestershire sauce and would cut it in half next time around." - adacooksYield: 6 Ready in 4 hours, 35 minutes

| 1 (28 ounce) canTomato sauce |
| 2 tablespoonLemon juice |
| 2 tablespoonWorcestershire Sauce |
| 2 tablespoonDried parsley |
| 1 teaspoonDried thyme |
| 2 Bay Leaves |
| 2 tablespoonBrown sugar |
| 2 teaspoonSalt |
| 1 teaspoonCrushed red pepper flakes |
| 1 mediumOnion; sliced |
Wonderful Short Ribs Preparation
Put everything except ribs in a 3.5 quart crock pot and put on high for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add ribs and stir to coat and turn to medium heat. Cover and cook about 4 hours or until ribs are tender. Stir occasionally to keep ribs coated. When tender, remove ribs carefully and tilt pan to skim off fat. Add the ribs to the sauce again and stir to coat. Keep covered until ready to serve.
