Original recipe makes 1 Serving
1/2 cupolive oil
1 cloveGarlic; pressed
1 poundRound steak; ground
1/4 poundPork; ground lean, or italian sausage
2 cupsItalian tomatoes
2 cupsItalian tomato paste
1/2 cupBeef stock
1 1/2 teaspoonSalt
1/4 teaspoonPepper
1 Bay leaf
1/2 cupMushroom; sliced
1 tablespoonFresh basil; or oregano
Spaghetti; or other pasta cooked
Parmesan cheese; grated

Italian Meat Sauce For Pasta Preparation

Heat olive oil and add garlic; add next 8 ingredients and simmer uncovered about 1 hour. Add mushrooms the last 15 minutes and season with basil or oregano. Serve over cooked pasta with grated cheese.
