Cuisine: American   Main Ingredient: Peppers

We added sliced jalapenos to the rice and hamburger mixture and i also boiled my green peppers before stuffing them and baking. Topped with cheese in the last few minutes of cooking. They were delicious. I used 2 small cans of sauce but next time i will probably buy 3.. Definately will make again.

(cont'd) I used the small can tomato sauce to mix in with the beef and rice mixture, but used the larger can to mix the italian seasoning to pour over the tops. I also added a tiny bit of water to keep the sauce in the pan from drying out and keep the bell peppers moist.

I bought two of the smallest cans of sauce I could find and that was perfect. Would definitely double the spices next time. The recipe was easy and tasted great.

Like a previous poster said it would be nice to know the size of the cans of sauce. I didn't have any for basting. It did taste really good though!

When you baste the peppers while cooking, do you baste all sides of the peppers with the tomato sauce, or just the top?

How big are the cans of tomato sauce supposed to be? I did not have any sauce to baste with as instructed.

Loved it. I froze the leftovers for a weekend meal. Can't wait to eat them again!

really good:)...the only thing is that it took like 2 hours to get soft maybe because of my oven but it came out great.

Love it! Simple to make. The only rice I had at home was a brown spicy rice, IT WORKED WELL!

Very good! I changed it up a bit by using ground turkey sausage instead, i also topped with cheese in the last 10 min of cooking.

It's soo easy to make!! I increased the amount of rice and worcestershire sauce a little bit, and my husband and step-son devoured them.

Pretty solid recipe. Was a little bland, I would probably add more spices next time.
