Mexiloc , 2 years agoYummy!!! Easy and delicious. Meat was not dry. I used fresh garlic and onion sautéed in olive oil.
mandylee1081 , 2 years agoThis was so easy, I used it as a base for my own recipe. Thanks!
natalie25 , 2 years agoWe added sliced jalapenos to the rice and hamburger mixture and i also boiled my green peppers before stuffing them and baking. Topped with cheese in the last few minutes of cooking. They were delicious. I used 2 small cans of sauce but next time i will probably buy 3.. Definately will make again.
BIASUSMCWife , 2 years agoeasy and yummmy
MissJennieL , 2 years ago(cont'd) I used the small can tomato sauce to mix in with the beef and rice mixture, but used the larger can to mix the italian seasoning to pour over the tops. I also added a tiny bit of water to keep the sauce in the pan from drying out and keep the bell peppers moist.

Tyren , 3 years agoExcellent recipe. I'd recommend this to anyone.
Atrillhaase , 3 years agoI bought two of the smallest cans of sauce I could find and that was perfect. Would definitely double the spices next time. The recipe was easy and tasted great.
Kimca , 3 years agoLike a previous poster said it would be nice to know the size of the cans of sauce. I didn't have any for basting. It did taste really good though!
SpyPirates , 3 years agoWhen you baste the peppers while cooking, do you baste all sides of the peppers with the tomato sauce, or just the top?
pattijbarros , 3 years agoI added cumin and red pepper flakes. Was very good!
Amandasdinner2 , 3 years agoIt was very good I will definitely be making this again I did add fresh jalapeno and onion gave it good flavor
Buddercup , 3 years agoHow big are the cans of tomato sauce supposed to be? I did not have any sauce to baste with as instructed.
Buddercup , 3 years agoLoved it. I froze the leftovers for a weekend meal. Can't wait to eat them again!
Ariellegranv , 3 years agoreally good:)...the only thing is that it took like 2 hours to get soft maybe because of my oven but it came out great.
kentcox72 , 3 years agoDelicious and simple prep. Froze great and I was then able to take one to work.
stevebrown , 3 years agoVery easy to follow and make. Definitely will make it again!
Ariellegranv , 3 years agoeasy to make. ..they came out great. Even the kids liked them..maybe next time I will experiment with more ingredients.
rpms111 , 3 years agoLove it! Simple to make. The only rice I had at home was a brown spicy rice, IT WORKED WELL!
rodq , 3 years agoVery good! I changed it up a bit by using ground turkey sausage instead, i also topped with cheese in the last 10 min of cooking.
