Chicken Milanese (literally, chicken in the style of Milan) is a chicken breast that has been butterflied and lightly flattened out, dipped in beaten egg, then into a breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture and fried in butter. This superb dish is super-easy to make and packed with flavor. The breading is so light and so melt in your mouth good, the meat is moist and tender. It's one of my favorite quick meals for a weeknight. These crispy cutlets not only make an exceptional main dish for dinner, but are equally delightful in a sandwich. I often serve these over pasta, drizzling Alfredo sauce over everything. My father likes them topped with fried eggs and covered with Hollandaise sauce and cheddar cheese...the possibilities for this versatile dish are endless.

momluvstocook , 1 years agoWonderful. Made this with Panko bread crumbs. Fried egg with package Hollandaise with the juice of one lemon added, The only thing wrong with it is I overcooked the egg. But this was great will be making this again real soon. Thanks

mallmarie , 1 years agoThis recipe is SO EASY, and it's fast! I just tried it for the first time tonight, but was able to skip the first few steps because I bought skinless, boneless chicken cutlets. It took about 20 minutes to prepare and cook, and it was absolutely delicious! My Dad was very fond of northern Italian cooking, and I wish he were still here to sample this great chicken dish because I know he would love it. My ten-year-old daughter cleaned her plate. I will definitely make this again.
Rhgugino , 1 years agoExcellent. It is now "my" recipe. Or so I tell my guests. I use equal part Italian bread crumbs, panko and Romano pecorino, for the breading. But it's the fried egg that makes it special.
JKRojahn , 1 years agoI was impressed by the fact that these are actually a cinch to make! We have a total of six people in our house and I'm always on the lookout for recipes that I hope will please everyone - this recipe met that expectation and everyone loved it. Yummy and easy to make!

me_4givn , 1 years agoSoooo good! Crust is great for fried zucchini too. Be sure to blanch veggi's first and blot dry with paper towel before putting crust on. Don't skip dry time or crust will not stick as well. My family loved it!

lisa982 , 1 years agoTried this recipe tonight and to my surprise my usually picky hubby and son loved this dish. I added a little cream to the sauce just to take down the bite of the lemon. Turned out great!!! Will keep this in my recipe box.

Peggy921 , 2 years agoNew family favorite!! We used crushed Ritz crackers mixed with panko bread crumbs and Kraft 3 cheese parmesan. We also fry it in light olive oil. Sooooo crunchy and good!!!
pugsruletheworld , 2 years agoYummy! Was a lot of steps but the end result was delicious! Burnt 2 pieces because it cooked so fast but still good. The rest of the pieces were great. I also didn't beat the meat and used Italian bread crumbs it tasted fine.
