This is the peanut butter cookie my Mom and Grandma used to make. It's still one of my favorite cookies. When these sweet, salty morsels of happiness come out of the oven, they are just as good today as they were when I was a kid. The recipe originally appeared on the Skippy peanut butter label in the early 1950's. It produces cookies that are golden brown with wonderful flavor and a light crispiness that melts in your mouth. Basically, it's everything you would expect a good peanut butter cookie to be.
Cuisine: American Main Ingredient: Peanut Butter

scootersweb ,Loved these cookies, but the recipe is a little overwhelming. It is basically an easy recipe but maybe a little bit wordy. Which in some ways is good because of how descriptive it is. In other ways you can get lost in it. I did however like that he broke it down to crisp and chewy cookies. Loved the cookies either way.11y
haileydickens ,This sounds wonderful but i only use one pb cookie recipe: 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup sugar 1 egg mix and bake(1" balls with fork indentions on top) on greased baking sheet for 8-10 minutes on 350 degrees11y

1cubby1 ,The taste is very good. If you enjoy more of peanut butter crisps, this is a good match. If they are too crisp, dip them in milk and microwave them for 15 seconds.12y
tattookitty ,Tastes like childhood! This is the only recipe our family has used my whole life. So yum!12y
